Nature of problem: 
Gardenia leaves are turning black and plan eventually dies

 

Type of Plant (if known):

Osmocote 25L Professional Rose / Gardenia / Azalea And Camellia Potting Mix

 

How often do you water the plant:
Due to rain not watering

 

How many hours of sunlight does the plant get each day:
1-3 h

 

What type of plant is it:
See attched photo

 

How long since you planted it:
2 months

 

Have you fertilised? If so, with what and when:
Richgro 2.5kg All Purpose Gardenia Azalea And Camellia Fertiliser

 

Is the plant indoors or outdoors: 
outside

 

What other treatments have you given the plant: 
not sure what to do

Answer: Hi Indi,  Thanks for sending the photo it helps a lot. I suspect that the plant needs to be moved to a sunnier position. Move it now and do NOT fertilise before January. It will not begin to pick up before this November/December. Water it in well and please note that the plant is quite ill and could die no matter what you do.  Don
