New build , just yellow clean sand fill every where.. best way to try and make sand into soil, just like jesus turned water into wine.. everything cost so much . using organic cow mauure at the moment. woe do you wanna do my garden LOL

Hi Maggie, I am not sure what you want. To turn sand into soil, you need to do it before planting your lawn. You can usually get trailer loads of FREE horse manure from local trainers at the nearest race track. Just put it on top of the soil & dig it in & wait a few weeks.

 If the lawn is already growing, go to stage two which is: to use a soil wetting agent on your lawn. Seasol Super Soil wetter is very good. Do this twice a year. Cow manure is no good for lawns – switch to Scotts Lawn Builder with added wetting agent. Water twice a week.  Good luck,  Don.
