Hi,

We’re planning to replace our security screen doors and I’d like a product that will be cat friendly. Our cat damaged her dew claw on the current screen door – she scratches it and gets stuck – which required surgery. So I would really like to find a new door that is both safe for my cat and safe from my cat!

I have seen some ‘pet mesh’ advertised hut the claims on these tend to be about cats not being able to ruin the door. I am more worried about my cat hurting herself again.

I’m not sure if you can help or if you have any ideas for where to look for advice on this – do you know whether there are more pet-friendly options and if these work?

Thanks!

Frances
