Other Comments:
Hi-Looking to plant a row of small (6 – 8 metres) deciduous trees alongside a horse arena for shade, at Hartley Valley Farm in the Blue Mountains. Obviously not toxic to horses. I really am at a loss and would appreciate any recommendation please. Many thanks, Cheryl Beattie

Answer: Hi Cheryl,  You really need local knowledge on this – local nurseries or garden clubs will understand local rainfall, soils and climate far better than me. However you might try some Crepe Myrtles. They could be OK.   Don
