Q:

Hi Don,

You very helpfully informed me how to deal with Frangipanis cuttings, but now the leaves are starting to develop black marks on the leaves.

I have got them in a glass greenhouse to emulate their Mexican homeland, as the weather in England is unpredictable.

Any chance you can help me out with this one?

Thanks in advance,

Simon Roome

A:

Hi Simon,

I can only guess that a combination of low light levels, cold snaps and too much water are the causes. REMEMBER that Mexico is mostly DESERT! High humidity will kill Frangipanis in cold climates.

Don
