Vic’s Tidy Garage
Vic’s garage houses tools, old magazines and a wonderful collection of memorabilia. There is a place for everything and everything is in its place, down to the last millimetre. Tools are arranged on peg boards on the wall, with each tool having its own allocated spot. Small items and collections of brochures and gadgets are kept in labelled and lidded containers that stack into cupboards or shelves on the wall. On the outside of each box Vic has listed the contents and how many items are inside. If one is removed, he adjusts the number on the outside of the box.
Vic uses both computer and photographic records to help catalogue and keep track of his possessions, but his memory is just about infallible. Don and the crew had some fun testing Vic to see if he’d notice when an item was removed, but each time Vic was able to identify the missing object in a matter of seconds!
