Magnolia In Decline

Question From:
Steve Ford in  West Tamworth,  Tamworth NSW

Nature of problem:
We have the most amazing and well established Magnolia tree that is starting to list at a pretty sharp angle. The flowers are nearly as big as dinner plates. The problem being, apart from the lean, is the tree seems to be in a slow decline. We re fearful that it may topple over one day and destroy property. My question is: Is their a safe way for the tree to be removed and sold /donated and transplanted. Is there people who buy / transplant trees. It would be a shame to have to destoy this tree. 6m

Answer:  Hi Steve, Yes you can but I doubt that the equipment is there in Tamworth. Unless the tree is easily accessible, no-one would even try to move it.  Don
