Will Shade Affect Citrus Growth?

Nature of problem: 
We have a dwarf lemon (Meyer) & dwarf lime in pots in a Northern aspect & they are thriving. We would like to extend our shade cloth covering in our garden to incorporate the 2 citrus tubs. The shade cloth is heavy duty Coolaroo, cream in colour. Will the shade cloth seriously affect the growth of the 2 citrus plants?

Answer: Hi Jame,  Citrus do best in 100% full sun all day. You forgot to mention the percentage of shade in your cloth. Anything more than 25% shade is not good, Don
