Hello

i have been trying to save my avacado tree but i have no idea if they all male or female or am i doing this right..they are doing well just want to make sure they succeed in growing..
thank you

Answer: Hi Monica, The poor plant is just a baby! Give it a few years yet to grow up, flower & set fruit. That is about when a grafted Avocado will set fruit. If you have grown it from seed it will take 15 years or more. Yes, they do need another nearby tree to pollinate their flowers – not male & female, just another variety. Usually there is one within bee range already.  Don
