Going on Holidays

Most of us have “time off” over the Christmas – January period.

If you are going away, your plants may need some help.

In the garden, a battery powered tap timer can water plants while you are away. Or you can pay a neighbour’s child to do the job for you.

Indoor plants can be placed together in the bath, watered well and left to cope with a shallow pool of water in the bottom of the bath.

Pets can be looked after by your neighbour’s child or better still book them into a boarding cattery or dog boarding kennels.

Both chooks and pet birds can suffer badly during the hot months – so get up early in the morning to give them water.

Hooroo! Don.
