Today we’re looking at simple tips to make gardening easier and more successful.
Dip plant cuttings into Manuka honey before you plant them into propagation mix or potting mix. This helps more cuttings to strike.
Use liquid lime, gypsum & dolomite. There is the Eco Flo range of limes – they work much better and are cheaper to use.
Add dye markers which colour the spray blue or purple whenever using Zero or Roundup. This helps save money and it also stops you treading in the spray and leaving dead footprints in the lawn.
Always use slow release lawn foods: they work better and longer and are safer for the environment.
Use composted pine-bark rather than fresh pine-bark as a mulch. It looks better and is safer with plants.
