Mozzie coil
Well guys, it’s mozzie time! These annoying, blood-sucking mosquitoes are everywhere. So what can you do?
• Don’t leave water in saucers under pots and check your guttering for pools of water after rain.
• Put goldfish in all backyard ponds as they eat mozzie wrigglers.
• Check all fly wire screens and doors for holes in the wire or cracks around the screens. Fly wire doors often need adjusting to get a closer fit to the frame. You can also buy adhesive sealing strips for around doors.
• Hardware stores sell Coopex – this is a spray that repels mozzies, flies, spiders and most insects. Spray it around the doors and windows and insects won’t come into your home. It can leave a white powdery look to areas you spray but it’s worth it.
