Keeping Cookies Crisp
If you have trouble with biscuits going soggy, try this kitchen tip from Geoff Jansz.
Place some rice in a microwave-safe glass bowl and microwave for two minutes, stirring every now and then. Allow the rice to cool, and then spread it over the base of an airtight container (Tupperware would be suitable). Cover the layer of rice with a sheet of baking or kitchen paper. Place the biscuits on top of the paper, and put the lid on the container.
This method works because the microwaved rice absorbs all the moisture from the biscuits. They will stay crisp and dry, providing the container used for storage is airtight.
