Will 5 cm square mesh eventually choke my wisteria vine. I am worried the weld mesh will ring bark and choke the vine when it thickens and matures. Do I need to grow the wisteria around the outside of the mesh arches or is it ok for the wisteria to twine in and out. Thanks for your advice.
