Want to grow a vine up the house wall to creep over a pergola to far wall that will not have large root system. I wanted Wisteria but am afraid that the roots will be too close to house and pipes.

Hi Rosemary, Wisterias don’t really have invasive roots. They can escape up trees and strangle the trees etc, but their root systems are OK. So get a wisteria. Don
