Hello I am trying to get of a swan plant for my son who absolutely loves monarch butterflies and their life cycle. Any ideas on where I would get one. I contacted the local butterfly society but they want to charge me $60 for one plant. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Answer: Hi Shannon, The swan plant is a noxious weed in many areas. Due to this fact it is not permissable for nurseries to sell it. Thus paying the $60 is your only choice. Have fun, but please try not to let it spread seeds, lateral roots, etc.
