Mulberry Has Died On Top

Nature of problem: 
Plant is dead on top, but new growth is starting from the bottom of the plant, can I cut of stem above new growth and how far above.

Mulberry tree

once or twice a week depending on rainfall

Mulberry

 

How long since you planted it:
was here when bought house, three years ago

 

Have you fertilised? If so, with what and when:
Seasol

 

Is the plant indoors or outdoors: 
Outdoors

 

Is the plant in a pot or in the ground:

What other treatments have you given the plant: 
none

Answer: Hi Sara,  This could be a WEEPING mulbery but the top is dead. Or it is an ordinary mulberry where the top has been removed. Either way, it needs to be replaced as it is very ill and can only grow into a very ugly tree now.  Sorry,  Don
