Time to plant
Well troops, it’s time now to plant almost all vegies and edible plants. If you didn’t get them in in September, DO IT NOW.
Plant beans, beetroots, carrots, capsicums, Chinese cabbages, cucumbers, eggplants, herbs, lettuces, pumpkins, rhubarb, silverbeet, sweet corn, tomatoes, vegetable spaghetti, zucchinis and lots more.
By now the soil is warm and growth will be spectacular. A week after planting you could use some chicken manure or other fertliser to get them moving along.
This is the best of times in the vegie garden right now.
