Don’s Tips – Mowers

lawn mowers

The lawns are already growing like mad, so it’s time to get the lawn mower serviced. Once a year you need new blades, fresh engine oil in 4 stroke engines, perhaps a new spark plug and maybe a carburettor service.

All of this makes the mower easy to start and a joy to operate. It also gives the mower a longer life span.

I like to buy a spare spark plug: if the mower engine becomes flooded, you just change over the spark plugs and the problem is solved.

For the removal of corroded, stubborn mower blades get some Reducteur releasing agent from Bunnings – it really works.

Care for your mower, this will save you lots of money and make mowing a more enjoyable job.
