Don’s Tips: Kids Gardens

Kids Gardens

Kids get far more fun out of life than us big people.  Everything is fun & and adventure.

… So how do you create a fabulous kids’ garden?

Well, it’s very easy.  Kids love flowers to pick that grow fast like daisies (marguerite daisies are excellent) and annuals which you can buy already in flower at nurseries.  They are often called “potted colour” or something like that.

What you do now is to pick out a special area of the garden that you give to the kids.  It’s their area.  Then you help the kids to plant the plants into their area.

Kids love to change their environment and to play with water.  They love to dig holes, build castles and make puddles.  Let them do it!

When they pick a flower and bring it inside for mummy, you must celebrate the event with them.  No matter how bedraggled the flower looks.

Don’t forget that what looks like a garden mess to you is a creative work of art for the child who made it.

Kids’ gardens are great!
