Backyards are places for relaxation or entertainment.
So what about some furniture to relax in. Check out wooden seats very carefully as many are not at all comfortable to sit on: comfort is essential.
Fabric seats can also be a problem as the cushions may get wet and mouldy.
The modern plastic rattan garden settings are really good. They dry rapidly after rain and are very comfortable. Do not skimp on cost though if possible. More expensive settings last longer and are cheaper in the long run.
For a flourish of colour, get some brightly coloured cushions that you can take outside when friends are coming.
