Indoor plants
Some plants adore growing in pots and live in those pots happily for many many years. So let’s look at some.
The following plants do far better in pots than in the ground:
Azaleas, grass trees (blackboys), daphnes, waratahs, baueras, orchids and bromeliads.
The next group love pots or in the ground:
All citrus, Japanese maples, many conifers plus camellias
The following plants hate being in pots:
Roses and most native plants especially grevilleas, wattles and gum trees.
So pick your pot plants carefully.
