Easy Lay Brick Key

Burke’s Backyard viewers Veronica and Anthony Rowley sent us a picture of their new brick letterbox. They laid all the bricks themselves using a product called the Easy Lay Brick Key. This is a plastic device which is placed into the mortar to help maintain the correct spacing between the bricks. The product is aimed at home handyman projects such as garden edging, barbecue surrounds, planter boxes and letterboxes.

Easy Lay Brick Key is available in Melbourne, with other states to follow early next year.

Understand my tree is called the Common Lillypilly: it has dark glossy green leaves and and abundance of pink, cherry sized berries, much loved by birds.
