Pot Pourri: The French Alternative
Jackie French has a pot pourri recipe that she says will help concentration and memory. So if you’re having trouble remembering where you left your keys, handbag, or even the kids, perhaps you could try this idea.
What you will need:
- an attractive bowl
- 2 tablespoons of cloves
- 2 tablespoons of cinnamon bark, crushed
- 2 tablespoons of black peppercorns
- 1 cup rosemary leaves, the herb of remembrance
- 1 cup of either jasmine, rose petals, lavender flowers or lemon verbena leaves (optional)
What to do:
Put all the components together into an attractive bowl and leave the pot pourri on a shelf near the front door. Inhale the aroma whenever desired. Jackie also suggests that if jasmine is a nuisance rather than a delight in your garden, chop it out.
