RSPCA Easter Eggs
This year the RSPCA, Myer/Grace Bros and Chocolatier Australia have joined forces to bring both animal and chocolate lovers six premium chocolate Easter Eggs in an ‘RSPCA Barn Laid’ presentation pack. $1 from the sale of each carton will go towards the RSPCA’s campaign to stop battery hen farming. Since the campaign began in 1999 the RSPCA has endorsed Farm Pride (Mrs. McKechie’s Barn Laid Eggs) and Pace Farms (Liberty Eggs), both brands of barn laid eggs available in supermarkets. The Barn Laid system of egg production is seen by the RSPCA as a more humane alternative to the common practice of keeping chickens in battery cages.
Availability:
The RSPCA Barn Laid Milk Chocolate Easter Eggs are exclusive to Myer/Grace Bros stores. They are available at Grace Bros in New South Wales and Myer stores in all other states. The 150g presentation pack is priced at $11.95.
