Hi don
Purchased a new bourvardia my dog broke the 3 stems so have cut them to 3’& 1/2inches and dipped in hormone powder and into potting mix should I place a plastic bag over the top would welcome your comments

Answer: This is a tough one. Bouvardias are difficult to grow. They are not indoor plants. They need perfect drainage but constant watering. The plastic bag is not a good idea. perhaps it is best to treat this plant as a temporary plant: sort of like a bunch of cut flowers.  Don
