Winter Cleanups

Winter is the best time to clean up the back and front yards.

Repair damaged paving.

Weed and mulch neglected garden areas.

Get rid of algae and mould on paving using bleach and water.

Prune back straggly plants overhanging paths.

Either spray bindii with a bindii spray or aerate your lawn with a power aerator and dig out bindii plants with an old steak knife.

Clean and wipe the lawn mower with oil or WD40.

Collect old dead leaves to mulch over bare spots in the garden.

Maybe buy some new mulch to tart up the area.

It’s so cool now that hard work won’t cause a heat stroke too!

Next time – the wet day shed or garage jobs.

Hooroo! Don
