The winter drabs – a yellow flowering honeysuckle plant

In winter you often go out in the backyard into your bleak, bare garden to see a few scrawny birds scrounging for some food.

This is very depressing, so why not cheer things up?

There are many plants that flower in winter to make your garden a happy place – SO GET SOME!  Every winter from now on they will put a smile on your face and a smell in your nose.

Daphne with its perfumed flowers does that – as does winter honeysuckle (a shrub!)

As does the apricot scented Osmanthus (a shrub)

Even cyclamen emit lovely perfumes – try the new Scented Cyclamen range. They have stunning perfumes.

If you hate perfume, get the yellow flowering Linum (reinwardtia  indica).

GO to your local nursery or Bunnings to see what they have that flowers in winter.  It makes sense!

Hooroo! Don
