Would you like to get the cheapest, best value plants available?
Well here they are: If you go to your local plant shop, nursery or hardware store, you may be able to find an indoor plant called a Parlour Palm. Look for parlour palms planted in a clump of many plants in one pot.
We did this and found 16 parlour palms gathered into one pot in one clump. These are all separate seedlings, so we pulled them apart and planted up to 16 individual parlour palms. This averaged out at $1.35 per palm. How’s that!
Perfect to give to friends, sell at school fetes or to just spread around your home.
Parlour palms only grow about a metre tall and do well in a brightly lit indoor position.
As with all indoor plants, do not over water them in winter.
