Frog Pond

Do you want a frog pond in your garden?  Well it’s not too hard to make one.

Either purchase a plastic fibreglass pond or some black rubber liner.  Put the liner or pond in the ground and cover the edges with rocks.

Plant around the pond with lush plants like Lomandra ‘Tanika’ or ferns or crinum lilies.  Amongst these plants and the rocks is where frogs live: not in the water.

Now buy some ultraviolet solar garden lights from a hardware store to attract insects at night:  these are what frogs eat.

Now sit back and wait for the frogs to arrive.  Or collect a few tadpoles from a local drain or similar wet area & put them in your pond.

Hooroo!
