Answer: Hi John, The floppy ear has no effect on IQ at all. However, the location of hair whorls on the face & body DOES affect both IQ and temperament. Maybe Google “Hair whorls affecting temperament & IQ in dogs”. At 18 months of age the dog can still be trained. It is better to start early on, but super smart breeds like Border Collies can learn throughout life. Don
