Jackie French has a beautiful complexion (for someone who spends most of the time outdoors), and she owes it all to her Aunt Ethel’s homemade moisturiser. Don’t bother with expensive commercial products – Aunt Ethel’s moisturiser is cheap, it’s simple to make and it really works.
Ingredients
10 tablespoons Sorbolene
1 tablespoon avocado oil or virgin olive oil
lavender oil (optional)
rose oil (optional)
juice of half a lemon or lime (optional)
Method
Put the Sorbolene and oil into a jar (both avocado and virgin olive oil are rich in antioxidants, but Jackie prefers to use avocado oil).
If you wish, add a few drops of rose and lavender oil.
Add the juice of half a lemon or lime (if using).
Shake well.
(Warning: if you add the lemon or lime juice don’t use the moisturiser around your eyes, because it will sting.)
Further information
Sorbolene is available at supermarkets and chemist shops. Large containers are better value for money.
