Flatulence in dogs is a common problem. Burke’s Backyard vet, Dr Chris Brown, said it’s often caused by cheap diets that are high in vegetable protein, such as soya bean. Soya bean causes gas.
What to do When shopping for dog food, check the ingredient list on the bag and make sure the main ingredient is mean protein like chicken, and not vegetable protein. Exercise your dog more. If it’s a real issue, try giving charcoal tablets. If the problem persists, see your vet.
