Other Comments:
This inquiry is for the purposes of a school assignment; how varying soil pH affects the way a plant looks– I am not harming these plants on purpose. The appearance of the leaves of the plant is one that I have never seen before and I was wondering what kind of nutrient deficiency is causing it; as it is planted in soil with a very low pH (2-3).

Answer:

Hi Tiana, The damage seems to be some sort of burn: most probably acetic acid burn. It is toxity, not deficiency.  Don
