Don has supported this charity for over 10 years.
Retina Australia support, raise money for & create awareness of Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP).
RP is an inherited retinal eye disease that is the leading cause of youth blindness, most commonly manifesting as tunnel vision, with sight slowly shrinking away until there’s none left at all.
One in every 3000 kids born in Australia will have RP, one in every 80 people in Australia carry the gene.
Money donated goes toward supporting kids & families with this disease & towards research – there’s a lot of promising new work with gene therapy being done.
