Don read a selection of letters from the Burke’s Backyard mailbag. They included some interesting photographs and possibly a few records!
Great gardens: We always enjoy seeing what you are achieving in your garden, so thanks to Virgilio and Laura Pizatti, from Mareeba in Queensland, for this photo of their stunning floral display.
John Hall’s Jack Russell terriers chased a cat up a cactus with very sharp spines. John was there with a camera to capture the cat’s plight and, we hope, to rescue kitty as well.
How long can parsley live? Well at least eight years according to this photograph sent in by Dulcie Curtis from Sylvania in New South Wales.
Big lemons: Jamie Di Florio from Beechboro in Western Australia sent a photo of the huge lemons his folks are growing on what looks like a Eureka lemon tree. Congratulations Jamie and family!
