Attaching a hose fitting
Well troops, Christmas has come & gone but left over roast turkey & leg ham, relatives and the dry, scorching heat are still around.
When you go into the hardware store to buy urgently needed hoses and hose fittings they will be out of stock due to a rush on them. “Yeah mate” they say, “had a real rush on hose fittings – the factory is closed for Xmas and January – but we’ll have new stock by February… or March at the latest.”
Really?? They run out at this time. EVERY YEAR!
So, go out NOW and get garden hoses and fittings. Buy an expensive hose and the best fittings – they are cheaper in the long run. Always use the same brand of fittings as many brands are a slightly different size to others – so they blow apart.
Get a cast metal Capitol sprinkler too – they last forever.
GO OUT TODAY before the stocks totally run out.
