Maurie
Don introduced a new member of the Burke’s Backyard team Maurie, the Pug puppy. He spent his first night in a box beside Don’s bed, so whenever he felt lonely Don was right there to comfort him.
Like all puppies, Maurie is a bundle of mischief. He has already started ‘helping’ in the office, and has also chewed a few shoes. Don says that Pugs have wonderful temperaments, and although Pug breeders sometimes worry about children hurting the eyes of puppies, this breed is particularly good with kids.

If you would like a Pug as a pet, be prepared to go on a waiting list for a puppy. They cost from $600-$800.
