Wanneroo markets have nice, reasonably priced fruit veg and plants.

Be sure to go early, as the stuff is really fresh then (fruit/veg)

Just north of Carnarvon stall selling frozen mango for $3.00 a takeaway container. It was the most delicious mango I had ever tasted and well worth the visit. It was right on the road and we were able to pull off with safety whilst towing our caravan.

Agreed Reggied, there are some great roadside stall in and around Carnarvon.

During the winter months there is a large variety of fresh fruit and veg available, over summer there is always bananas and mmmm Yummy Mangoes.

The best thing with these stalls is that the produce is all FRESH ! For travellers this is a bonus as they can purchase veges at very good prices, and know that it will last them longer than supermarket produce.
As mentioned also, a lot of the roadside stalls have easy access for travellers towing caravans.

During the winter months the Growers Markets, held in the town civic centre is also a goldmine of fresh and varied produce.

For anyone travelling round this great country of ours, Carnarvon is well worth a Fruit and Vege stop!
