Hi,

Here in Adelaide there aren't many roadside stalls except in the countryside. In Adelaide suburbs 2 of my favourite are the Junction market and the Pooraka market. They have numerous stalls ranging from fruit and veg, to car acessories and furniture. The Gawler markets held on the oval have farm animals and all the above on Wednesdays as well

i live in clare and once amonth the seven hill markets are on with wonderful homemade produce etc.even hot food ,freshly baked brread and yummy eats .its a must go...

Don't know if it still applies, but years ago when I used to live in SA, there were fruit stalls on the highway near Virginia, however the way I hear SA is growing this may now all be a part of Adelaide.

I find that the boot sale held at Brighton High School once a fortnight is great and on the alternitive fortnight there is one held opposite the Marion Council chambers on sturt road, produce is always fresh and reasonable prices

My favorite is the Olde Apple Shed near Balhannah. When we told people we were moving to Balhannah, everyone knew where it was because of the Apple Shed. Really great apple pies!

Hi! I lived in venic and Rialto market is famous for its fresh fish. Be sure to get there early to find the best buys! You will also find fruit and vegetable stalls, and, in the surrounding streets, butchers' shops selling pheasants, quail, animal protein and wild boar.

it's the market between main north rd and port wakefield road opens sunday mornings...by 1pm a lot of packing up and the giving away of some things that didn't sell. It's probably the last remaining drive in theater other days. Lots of things sold some good bargains ! It's not really roadside I guess as it is between the 2 main roads heading north. well worth a visit or perhaps turn up with items to sell. You have to be early to get a good spot.......5am or something like that....
