pomolo Forum legend Posts: 1099 Location: Registered: September 2007	RE: orchard enclosure Posted 1072 days ago I can't help you with the structure but I would ask that you cover the orchard in shade cloth rather than bird netting. Bird netting causes too many deaths of flying animals. (including bats) They get caught up in the netting and can't free themselves. We have a number of orchards in our district and they are all covered in a light version of shade cloth. Mostly it's because of the destruction the bats cause to the fruit but it would serve the same purpose for birds.	0 0 Alert moderator
