Sealing and waterproofing along between roofing and tiles Posted 739 days ago Hi
We are having problems making a water proof seal between where the roofing Iron butts up underneath and against the tileson the roof.
Can you suggest a good product which will seal this area and stop water coming in.
This roof area has not much run off and when we have a really heavy storm the water backs up causing this probvlem, normal rain is no problem.
Thanks
Ray

RE: Sealing and waterproofing along between roofing and tiles Posted 737 days ago Hi Ray,
First check that you hav good drains, maybe put another extra down pipe then the roofing that is under the tiles at end should have the edge bent upwards to stop the water draing upwards, when I used to do roofing I have a special tool to bend the iron but you can do the same with a pair of pliers or multigrips you'll see that will solve the problem you only need to bend the valley of the iron, good luck let me know how you go.
