garden shed set out a square space Posted 791 days ago hi all how do i set out a rectangle so it is not going to be lopsided and one side is longer than the other thanks. |

RE: garden shed set out a square space Posted 767 days ago To make sure you start off at 90 degrees use a 3,4,5 triangle. In other words one edge will be 3 (metres, feet, yards - doesn't matter but stick with one) long, the next edge will be 4 (whatever) long, then measure the distance between the ends of your 3 & 4 measurement and it should be 5 (whatever). If not move an end of the 3 or 4 so it meets the 5. This will then ensure that your corner is 90 degrees. |
