Wood Rot Posted 696 days ago Hi All
I have some wood rot in a window frame in one corner, I found where the water was coming in and have fixed that.
What I would like to know is what the best brand of wood filler is; we purchased one that never went off.
I removed all the rotten wood back to solid wood.
Then filled it with wood filler which seemed at the time not to mix very well.
Now I have to dig this out and replace it with I hope something better.
So has anyone got any ideas as to what I should be using ?
Thanks
Ray

RE: Wood Rot Posted 695 days ago Hi Ray,
An epoxy filler such as Megapoxy would do the job properly and would outlast the existing timber and the whole house for that matter. |
