The use of Builders Black Plastic sheet beneath Pebbles Posted 844 days ago I would appreciate any good advice re the preparation and laying of Builders Black Plastic Sheeting beneath the White Pebbles I will hopefully be using to replace my front garden lawn which is only one of the thousands that have suffered badly in my area due to the drought. |

RE: The use of Builders Black Plastic sheet beneath Pebbles Posted 829 days ago Sorry, but the best advice I can offer is just don't do it!! Use weed-mat or hessian. Plastic is totally ruinous in that situation, both short and long term. Drainage problems, soil compaction, dead soil if you change your mind after about six months. Been there. Never again. |
