Tiles.

Posted 124 days ago

HI, Ive got a huge area underneath my house, all enclosed and concreted. I would like to tile it, however near some of the walls there are angled bits of concrete.

Is there any thing I can do to remove/cover this angled section?

I'd say you need hands on advice for this problem. No one could advise you without seeing just what and where this "concrete" is.

For all we know they may be vital to the structure of the house.

Thank you Pomolo, I will try to explain a bit better.
I live in an old queenslander, and the concrete is under the house, it is not near any of the posts. The underneath area is an add-on, and has been added onto, over and over, I think this is why the concrete is there.
There is no problem with leaving it there, I just would like to put floor-coverings down, and dont know if I can tile over un-even angled concrete or if I have to cover it with skirting boards.

I've seen tiles that have been used in angled areas. It can be done - though I'm not the person to tell you how. It might mean cutting the tiles into smaller pieces where the angle is?

Even the hard, dull, dry ground harbours life - which is brought to the surface with the fresh touch of drenching rain (or the humble watering can).
