Wood Fire Oven

Posted 158 days ago

Hi,

I'd like to build my own wood fire oven but I'm having trouble finding the clay. Can anyone suggest anywhere around Melbourne, preferably northern area?

paski, there's an excellent Wood Fired Oven pattern sheet available for download as a colour pdf from the following website:
http://au.lifestyle.yahoo.com/b/better-homes-
gardens/7395/wood-fired-oven-pattern-sheet/

Included
is a section on where to source materials. I plan to give this a go myself sometime in the not-too-distant future.

Good luck.
Regards, Gary

Would love to attempt to build a an outdoor woodfired pizza oven, however I would love to use hebel blocks has anyone used them, or can they only be used for the base that the oven is then built on top of? Look forward to hearing any information anyone has.
