RE: laying wooden decking Posted 175 days ago Now I know zilch about building or carpentry for a start. I only know ours are laid with the flutes (i didn't even know they were called flutes either)down. I understood it was so water didn't lay in the recesses. The total extent of my knowledge about it I'm afraid. |

RE: laying wooden decking Posted 166 days ago I've had this discussion before and heard arguments for why it should be laid both ways. |

RE: laying wooden decking Posted 142 days ago all of the above but preferably "down" as to help the timber to dry out more evenly to reduce twisting and warping |

RE: laying wooden decking Posted 139 days ago Wouldn't it be better to have them on both sides? |
