Posts: 1 Location: Perth Registered: June 2008	concrete slabs Posted 106 days ago I Have done a garden reno to a 70's home and to keep in sync with the concrete and brick paving already down, i have used concrete slabs and crushed brick on the floor of the new area. The thing is the new slabs are sooooooo new they look too clean. can any one tell me a way to "age" the slabs to fall in line with the existing...or at least closer. Posts: 7 Location: southern sydney Registered: January 2008	RE: concrete slabs Posted 106 days ago the milk trick works but the milk has to be going off or mixed wth sour cream, the treatment is for stone/brck walls.it does stink after awhile.just brush on leave for a few weeks and hose/brush off and a mossy slime stain is left behind and the weather will do the rest but there is always going to be differences in the new and the old slabs so once the new slabs are stained do all of them together new and the old and it will get a formality to the stains over the lot.other wise just wet them down and walk soil over them and if there in the open they will stain up and try the milk treatment on the lot later on winter is a good time to do this.hope this helps. _________ good advice saves you doing it twice.	0 0 Alert moderator
