Glass table top Posted 594 days ago Hi there,
I'm trying to find a sheet of glass (or similar) to turn my 7ft pool table into a dining table. My understanding is that 10mm safety glass with bevelled edges would be the way to go, and allow maybe 20mm to overlap the table a bit.
Thing is, I'm having problems finding this sized glass for under about $900, which is a little bit out of my price range. Can anyone help with good suppliers etc that they know of?
On the other hand, has anyone got some suggestions as to an alternative? I'm thinking some for of perspex that's strong enough that it won't bow in the middle. Help with suppliers etc here would be muchly appreciated :)
Thanks!

RE: Glass table top Posted 592 days ago Hi Dave,
Just a thought, would the glass from a second hand sliding door be large enough? If so speak with your local glazier and ask them if it would be suitable and could it be cut to suit your requirements. _________ |
